Today on What’s My Frame? we have one of our most fun and powerful conversations to date on the show! I’m honored that Kaymie & Jazzy took the time to share their experiences, stories and insight with our creative community to help us learn. I hope this ep inspires us all to hold ourselves and the productions we work with accountable and to call for real change in the industry! Jazzy is an Emmy-Nominated Unscripted and Commercial Casting Director based out of Los Angeles, CA. She has worked for hit reality shows like Lizzo’s Watch Out For The Big Grrrls for Amazon, Netflix’s The Circle, ABC’s The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, OWN’s Family or Fiance, and CBS’ Love Island. Her commercial credits include Grubhub, LEGO, Netflix, and Mobvoi. Finding quality talent, and producing and developing stories is her strong suit and she never shies away from a challenge. She has been at the forefront of the movement calling for diversity and inclusion in the entertainment industry. She wrote an open letter to ABC calling for action, which was published in Deadline, E! News, ET Canada, Women’s Health, and beyond. She hopes to continue to be the voice of change and produce stories that need to be heard. Prior to co-founding Soulstice Casting with Jazzy Collins, Kaymie Mattison has hit almost a decade in a successful career focused on unscripted casting, branded commercial casting, and production. She has most recently served as a senior casting director for OWN Network/Bunim-Murray for the past three years. Previously, she has acted as senior casting producer for international successes such as Survivor, The Bachelor, Love is Blind, Married at First Sight, and Iyanla: Fix My Life. She is adept in every facet of television from casting development to production management. Kaymie is proud to stand by Jazzy Collins in their mission to be vessels of change in how we see positive, BIPOC representation in the media. @soulsticecasting Instagram – soulsticecasting.com //////
